Founded in 1961 by the Salesian Sisters, Camp Auxilium offers 3-15 year old children a fun and exciting camp experience five weeks each summer. The Salesian Sisters focus on spiritual growth and development through numerous, daily planned activities. Fun for kids includes swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, horseback riding, and much much more.

Sacred Heart Center is a retreat house operated by the Salesian Sisters as a response to the needs of young people and adults who gather in the Name of Christ. It offers a place of peace and prayer, providing day long and overnight accommodations, programs, and meals.

Founded in 1921, Mary Help of Christians Academy began as a boarding school. Today it is a private girls' middle school and high school with a predominately Hispanic representation. Currently there are 320 students enrolled who come from inner-city Paterson and the surrounding areas.
