![]() Scholarship FundsWe have managed to keep our schools open, thanks to generous donors. Through scholarship funds, they have given bright, young children the chance to learn and persue their dreams. Now, here is your chance to help many other needy yet deserving students. St. Joseph's School, Tampa, FLThe Sr. Wilma Sanchez Scholarship Fund, founded by her brother, Arsenio Sanchez, is in memory of one of the first students of St. Joseph’s School in Tampa, FL. It will enable a student with academic potential to attend St. Joseph’s. Villa Madonna School, Tampa, FLThe Ana Maria Auxilium Award was established by the Baldor family, in memory of Ana Maria Baldor-Bunn to benefit students in Villa Madonna School in Tampa, Florida. In honor of his character and courag, the Dan Cedola Scholarship was established for students of Villa Madonna and the Salesian Youth Center. The Frances Evelyn Grandoff Endowment was established to advance the education of inner-city children in the Tampa, FL area who have strong academic potential but are in financial need. Her daughter, Betty, named a scholarship as a birthday present to her mom on Sept. 13, 2001. The Mary Santa Cruz Trout Endowment, established by her family, was the first fund to aid students at Villa Madonna School in Tampa, Florida. Mary Help of Christians Academy, North Haledon, NJThe August P. Bosio Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Rev. August Bosio, a Salesian priest. An anonymous donor began the fund for students at Mary Help to honor a beloved teacher whose only interest was the success of the young people in his care. The Carini Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Inez and Louise Carini, whose estates opened funding to assist needy students. The Clair/Militello Scholarship Fund was established by the Clairs, in honor of their parents and by Fr. Benedict Militello to aid students of Mary Help of Christians Academy. The Corrado Scholarship Fund was established by her children to aid a Freshman at Mary Help. The Joan Cullinan Memorial Scholarship Fund will memorialize the beauty and spirit of a victim of terrorism. Thanks to her husband, family, and friends, the fund will support at-risk students at Mary Help of Christians Academy. The Dolores and Victor De Lucia Scholarship was established by their children to benefit a needy student at Mary Help. Victor was a himself the recipient of someone's scholarship and he therefore learned early in his life about the powerful effect of "faith in others." To mark the 100th birthday of their mother, Rose La Malva, her two daughters established The Rose La Malva Scholarship Fund for financial aid for freshman girls in need at Mary Help of Christians Academy, their alma mater. Mrs. La Malva is now 104 years young. The Hope M. McAleer Scholarship Fund was established by the McAleer Family in memory of their mother, to enable your women to attend Mary Help of Christians Academy. The Robert R. Waitts Scholarship Fund was established by his wife, Maggie, will enable girls from Paterson, NJ to attend Mary Help. VocationsThe Joseph McAleer Vocation Fund is named after the founder of the Salesian Sisters’ Partners Circle. Established in 2001 by the McAleer Family in memory of their father, the fund will support and promote consecrated religious vocations in the Catholic Church of our time.
